So UAAP Season 75 finally had their tip off yesterday. I hate to say this but the opening sucked. I love Tin Patrimonio but her hosting skills kinda ruined everything. It’s that or maybe I just expected too much; nonetheless, it still brings a lot of joy and enthusiasm to a lot of UAAP fans that the new season has already started.
For the Male’s Basketball, I’m quite having a hard time picking on which team to root for. (That’s usually the problem if you don’t go to any of those schools. Haha.)
Personally, I think NU’s gonna come up big this season. They won their first game against UE with a huge lead. If they continue with the energy and hunger they showed yesterday, they might end up in the finals. ADMU has my heart, too. I admire their work ethic and their confidence. They have this so called “Drive for Five” and yeah, I think they’re really determined enough to get that. For the underdogs, I would root for UP simply because they have Mike Silungan. Silungan has been my idol ever since he started playing in the UAAP. His love for the game amazes me every time. Although he only averages 11 ppg, I think he’s capable of making more. DLSU also has a huge line up because of their returnees and rookies. For UE, I hope they get to show more than what they’ve shown the last season. UST and FEU’s first game against each other was intense. Although FEU prevailed, I’m pretty sure UST will continue to give their best in the next upcoming games. I’m still waiting for today’s AdU x ADMU game. AdU showed amazing games last season and I’m hoping they’ll do the same this season 75. We’ll see. Soon.
So which team are you rooting for?

These two were supposedly based on a real couple, who said they wouldn’t board a life boat as long as there were younger people still aboard the ship. They both went below deck, presumably to their room, and that’s the last time they were seen -cries-
That’s Isador and Ida Strauss, who died together on the Titanic the night of April 14-15, 1912. He urged his wife to board on a lifeboat but she refused and was witnessed to have said “We have lived together for many years. Where you go, I go.”
Aw, bless them.
This just got me teary eyed. I swear. The sweetest.
